Terms of service

These terms govern your use of the Redacted Browser software and the redactedbrowser.com services (together, the Service). By creating a workspace or installing the software you agree to them.

1. The Service

Redacted Browser provides a desktop application, a browser engine and a hosted workspace service for managing separate browser profiles. During early access the Service is provided free of charge and may change without notice.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for accounts and websites you are authorized to operate, and in compliance with the terms of every platform you access and all applicable laws. You may not use the Service for fraud, unauthorized access, harassment, or to evade a ban imposed on you personally. We may suspend workspaces that we reasonably believe are used in breach of this section.

3. Accounts and workspaces

You are responsible for the credentials of your workspace and for the people you invite into it. Keep your password private and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

4. Fees

No fees are charged during early access. Before billing starts we will notify every workspace by email. Founding prices published on the pricing page apply to workspaces created during early access for as long as the subscription remains active. Paid plans carry a 30-day money-back guarantee from the first charge.

5. Software licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software for the purposes described above. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute or resell the software except where the law allows.

6. Your data

Profile state and workspace data belong to you. We process them only to provide the Service, as described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you store in profiles.

7. Availability and warranties

The Service is provided as is. Early-access software may contain defects, and we do not warrant that any website will treat a profile in any particular way. To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of accounts, revenue or data.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end the Service for a workspace that breaches these terms. On termination you may export your profile data for thirty days.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the application before they take effect.
